Gdansk Christmas Market is growing year by year. The core of market is still located on Targ Weglowy square and around three historical city gates including The Golden Gate. That’s where you’ll find dozens of stalls selling local produce such as handmade Christmas baubles, leather goods and organic cosmetics.

There are over 100 stalls, and there really is plenty to choose from. Nearby is Katownia tower with additional attractions and exhibitions. The marked is located on following streets and squares og Gdańsk Old Town: Targ Weglowy, Targ Sienny in front of Forum shopping mall, ul Boguslawskiego, ul Tkacka, ul Dluga, ul Garbary and part of ul Ogarna.

At the Gdańsk Christmas market, you’ll find plenty of stalls selling mulled wine and other warming drinks. What’s more, you certainly won’t leave the market feeling hungry.

There’s a huge variety of street food on offer at the market, and there’s something for everyone. Personally, I like Flammkuchen and potatoes with various fillings.

Zbrojownia means the armoury. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Gdansk Old Town. It is a seat of Fine Art Academy in Gdansk but the ground floor is an exhibition and even area. The ground floor of Zbronownia will be hosting Art and Crafts market. Zbrojownia is a space where artists and craftspeople will present their unique products, often made specially for the Market and available only there.
